Welcome to Geomob Finland in Turku on 9 April

Lounaistieto and the University of Turku are organising the Geomob Finland event in Turku on 9 April. The informal event will showcase ideas and innovations related to location data and networking on the topic.

Whether you're a GIS professional, developer, startup founder, or just curious about location-based technologies, Geomob is the place to be! The event will also serve as an after-party for the Aluetietofoorumi event. All presentations will be in English.

When and where?

  • Tuesday, 9 April in the afternoon at 16–18
  • SparkUp premises (Tykistökatu 4, Turku)

Agenda

  • Doors open at 16:00 for set up and general mingling over a glass of wine
  • At 16:30 we begin the talks with a very brief introduction
  • Each speaker will have slides and speak for 10-15 minutes. After each talk there will be time for 23 questions.
  • We vote by show of hands for the best speaker. The winner will receive best speaker prize and unending glory (see the full list of all past winners).
