New practical guide introduces the opportunities of GeoAI
02.09.2026Save the Date and Call for Speakers: Datafest, 4 February 2027 in Helsinki
Across Europe, the data economy is taking shape, with business value increasingly being created through sharing, combining and making use of data. Finland has a strong group of companies at the forefront of this development. For many businesses, however, the opportunities offered by the data economy, data sharing and European data spaces are still somewhat difficult to grasp. This can slow down the development of new business and international growth.
On 4 February 2027, the DATASTEP project will bring together SMEs from the Uusimaa region to explore the business opportunities created by data. The free event will offer perspectives both for those taking their first steps towards becoming data-driven and for pioneers whose businesses are built around data infrastructure, analytics, data-driven products or AI applications.
During the day, you can choose your learning path based on your company’s level of data maturity:
- Early-stage sessions: the basics and opportunities of using data
- Growth-stage sessions: creating value from data and developing new business models
- Advanced sessions: data sharing, ecosystems and international scaling
The event will be mainly in Finnish, with selected sessions in English.
Do you have a topic in mind that you would like to present at Datafest?
Registration opens in October.
