19.09.2023Interested in making better use of location data in the forest sector? Join the Location Innovation Hub forestry network
The Location Innovation Hub forestry network is about to get underway. We would like to invite forest operators and all those interested in forest related spatial information to join the network.
The network aims to support both businesses and public administrations to improve their own operations through location data.
“Our aim is to identify and highlight the added value of forest-related positioning and location information and to provide networking opportunities. We hope that as many people as possible will join our network," says the network leader Jukka Malinen from Metsäteho Oy.
The Forestry Network is one of our thematic networks. All Location Innovation Hub networks have a common goal of organising demonstration activities, events, learning tours and training with other networks, as well as seeking further funding.
First meeting in a webinar on 2.11.
The Forestry Network will start by organising one-hour webinars where network members can present new research, applications and services in the field.
The first webinar will take place on 2 November 2023 from 9 - 10 am. Please register here by 29 October 2023.
You can use the same form to register for the network, even if you are not participating in this webinar. The network is an open e-mail list of people interested in forest-related location information, maintained by Metsäteho.
Metsäteho is one of the Location Innovation Hub partners. See the whole list of partners here.
