Research can create value far beyond the original research project. But how can promising research be taken further? What pathways and support are available along the way? 

This event brings together researchers, research support teams, industry representatives, and researchers with first-hand experience in research  commercialisation to discuss the different ways research can move beyond the original project and create value in society, industry, and innovation.

The event is organised by the Location Innovation Hub, in collaboration with the Finnish Geospatial Research Institute (FGI), Geological Survey of Finland (GTK), Finnish Environment Institute (Syke), Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke), Centria University of Applied Sciences, and Tampere University of Applied Sciences. 

The programme includes perspectives and practical insights from researchers with first-hand experience in research commercialisation, Business Finland, intellectual property (IPR) specialists from Intellisys, Helsinki Incubators, industry representatives, investors, and innovation ecosystem actors.
