Selko Insights is a Finnish startup developing tools and expert services for sustainability reporting and analytics for SMEs and real estate owners. Its goal is to make the calculation and reporting of climate impacts, such as carbon footprints, simpler, and in doing so, make sustainability work easier for businesses.

Location Innovation Hub supported Selko Insights by strengthening the company’s expertise in location data and GIS tools, and by helping apply these to the analysis of climate change-related risks. Through hands-on collaboration, the Selko Insights team gained the capability to use geospatial analysis, for example in assessing flood risks as part of ESG reporting in the real estate sector.
