Geoinformatics Research Days will take place on 11–12 May at the University of Helsinki, bringing together experts from research, business, and the public sector.
The event is organized by University of Helsinki together with the member universities of the Finnish University Network for Geoinformatics (Fiuginet) and has been connecting the geospatial community for over a decade.
A highlight of this year’s program is the Geospatial Challenge Camp Final Event on Monday 11 May from 13:00 to 17:00, where multidisciplinary teams of early career researchers and students will present their solutions to real-world challenges under the theme Sustainable Mobility and Transportation. The session offers fresh perspectives and insights on mobility and transportation challenges from the participating teams.
Across the two days, the program explores the theme Geospatial Intelligence for Sustainable Futures through keynote talks, presentations, and a panel discussion. Together, the events create a space for exchange of ideas and cross-sector networking.
Whether you work in industry, research, or the public sector, or are interested in joining future editions of the Challenge Camp or Research Days, this is a great opportunity to engage with the geospatial community.
The event is free of charge and open to all, but registration is required. Places are limited, so we encourage you to register early to secure your spot.
