04.01.2024Bridging the Gap Between Research and Industry Needs
In our dynamic business landscape, staying ahead often means tapping into the latest trends and technologies. For many companies, exploring cutting-edge research, especially in geospatial, navigation or positioning domains, requires the guidance of experts. For startups and small companies, right experts and resources can be difficult to find. Recognizing this need, Location Innovation Hub (LIH) is excited to introduce the innovative concept of "Borrow a Researcher."
Borrow a Researcher Service
"Borrow a Researcher," is an initiative that aims to match industry players with the best minds in spatial data research. The goal is to facilitate meaningful conversations and collaborations that propel businesses forward.
First we offer a short conversation where companies and researchers can delve into topics that are top-of-mind and explore potential areas of collaboration. If the initial discussion unveils promising opportunities, LIH is ready to provide funding for small coaching. For our clients, this service will be as free as all the other services.
The Experts Behind "Borrow a Researcher"
At the outset, we have researchers from FGI, but the aim is to reach out more research organizations from our consortium as well. Currently, these experts bring knowledge in areas such as aerial remote sensing, artificial intelligence, precise positioning, navigation technology, and cartography. Once the roster widens, also other areas will be covered too.
