CASSINI Challenges 

The CASSINI Challenges prize contest 2026, is aimed at encouraging EU entrepreneurship and business creation by promoting the development of innovative solutions based on or contributing to Galileo, Copernicus, GOVSATCOM and SST, other space data and services and their synergies with other technologies, such as quantum and AI. FIERCE

With €2.5 million in financial support and a wide array of free advisory services, FIERCE Project will enable SMEs, start-ups and scale-ups to engage in space-enabled green entrepreneurship. The first Call for the Advisory Services Program is open for applications. Read more.

ESA Phi-Lab Finland 

ESA Phi-Lab Finland is offering 4.4 M€ of space-related funding and support for geospatial innovation projects between 2025 and 2030. The permanent open call is ongoing, and you can apply at any time. Project selection will take place at least once a year. Read more.

EIC Pathfinder

The EIC Pathfinder is a funding programme under Horizon Europe that supports early-stage research teams in developing the scientific foundations for breakthrough technologies. It focuses on the very earliest phases of deep-tech R&D, backing cutting-edge scientific and technological ideas with the potential to disrupt existing markets, create entirely new opportunities, and ultimately scale up into transformative innovations in Europe. ESA BASS Funding

The goal of BASS Funding is to support the development of commercially successful space-based business applications in Europe, by providing funding, technical and business support for entrepreneurs. Businesses from any sector can apply to ESA Business Applications' Open Calls at any time, and in addition there are thematic calls launched throughout the year targeting specific focus areas, with a time-limited application period. Zayed Sustainability Prize

The Zayed Sustainability Prize 2026 is an international award recognising innovative and scalable solutions across water, health, climate action, energy, and food. Winners in each category will receive USD $1 million, and finalist organisations will also be awarded USD $100,000, providing significant support to scale real-world impact.
