We offer companies the opportunity to have a thesis worker work on a topic that meets their needs. The thesis worker will be employed by us and work at the Finnish Geospatial Research Institute (FGI) at the National Land Survey of Finland, completing a thesis on a topic agreed together with the company.

What kind of thesis topics do we support?

A thesis topic could focus, for example, on using location data, AI and other types of data, data analysis, visualisation, new technologies, or developing products or services. Interesting thesis topics can also be found in challenges related to transport and logistics, forestry, agriculture, and the built environment.

The service is primarily aimed at SMEs.
