The Location Innovation Hub community is excited by innovative solutions that change perspectives and ways of working. We want to highlight those bold pioneers who are using location data to tackle the complex challenges of our built environment. This year we are launching the WDBE Best use of Location Information Award with KIRAHub to recognise the start-ups, SMEs and other teams that are demonstrating exceptional commitment and innovation in this mission.
Our award criteria are:
- Innovation and Creativity: We award this prize to the team that uses location data in an unprecedented way. The winner will demonstrate how their solution brings a new perspective or approach to solving problems within the built environment.
- Impact: The winner will be a team whose solution has a demonstrable and potentially significant positive impact on the environment, communities or the sustainability of the built environment. We also value collaboration with other bodies, be they local communities, public authorities or other companies.
- Practical feasibility: We value ideas that are not only creative but also feasible in practice. The winning team must be able to demonstrate how their solution can successfully move from theory to practice, including its scalability and economic viability.
We look forward to the opportunity to celebrate together at the WDBE Awards event and present this award to the selected team. The jury will include experts from the Location Innovation Hub and WDBE Organizing Committee who will select the winning team based on the above criteria.
Please send your proposal using Lyyti portal. The submission deadline for proposals is September 8.
