The Location Europe data integration platform seamlessly combines location data from various European countries, offering a unified source for high-value datasets and services.

The platform encompasses a rich array of data, including 2D/3D building structures, 2D/3D roads, digital terrain models (DTM), digital surface models (DSM), temperature, wind speed, and sunshine data, initially sourced from Spain, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, Estonia, France, and Germany. The platform will expand with additional countries in the future.

Data is accessible in JSON format via OGC API Features or in GeoTIFF format through OGC API Coverages, depending on the specific data type. Users can also explore and visualize the data directly in a browser. Please, visit this page for guidance about our APIs.

Get a free API key and test the platform

Because the platform is part of the Location Innovation Hub's (LIH) test environments, access to the Location Europe platform requires an API key. This key is exclusively available to businesses and organizations within the countries participating in the Digital Europe program. Private use is not allowed.

You can utilize the API key for a 7-day trial period without registering as a LIH customer. After the trial period, LIH will reach you out to guide you through the registration process. This registration is free and non-binding, and it offers an access to a wide range of complimentary benefits and services.
